Welcome to the Grandemaison!

My name is Gema and all my life I have been surrounded by animals of all kinds, although my weakness has always been cats.

La Grandemaison was born as a project 5 years ago, but it took us a long time to shape the idea and it was not until 2015 that it started to work. We raised British Shorthair and British Longhair (full recognition as a breed by FIFE since September 2017) of all solid and bicolor colors.

The main goal of La Grandemaison is, without a doubt, to get healthy and well-socialized British Shorthair kittens, with an extraordinary temperament getting them to be the perfect pet for any home, and of course that they meet the standard of the race defined by FIFE, for that reason all our cats come from the best European lines.

Our females have only one litter per year since we prioritize the quality to the quantity, in order to be able to dedicate the necessary time to the kittens from the moment of their birth until the day of delivery to their new owners so that they have a excellent character being affectionate and sociable.

None of our males is available for outside mounting.
Our cats are a member of the family, they share our day to day in our house, freely moving around our house with the necessary limitations for a controlled reproduction.

All our adult cats as well as the kittens are checked, checked and vaccinated by the veterinarian regularly, all of our British are genetically tested being negative for PKD, by PCR for infectious diseases (Leukemia, Immunodeficiency, Calicivirus ....) and serologically for coronavirus in order to ensure that everyone is healthy.

The kittens will be delivered thirteen weeks old, wormed internally and externally, vaccinated with two doses of tetravalent (trivalent + leukemia), with the microchip in the name of its new owner and pedigree.

We love that people who buy our kittens keep sending us photos and news of them regularly, because for 3 months they have been full members of our family.

We do not sell cats to pet stores and we do not send them either, we believe that if you commit to spending an animal for the next 15 years, coming to pick it up personally should not be a problem. Our kittens are sold mainly for company, so to deliver the pedigree to the new owner you must send us a veterinary certificate stating the sterilization of the kitten.

We do not rule out selling them for breeding if the person shares the same philosophy as we do about breeding and has an affix.

At the time of booking a La Grandemaison kitten, all these conditions will be reflected in a booking contract that will be replaced by the purchase-sale contract at the time of delivery of the kitten.

If you are interested in one of our kittens send us an email and we will put you on our waiting list or if you just want more information do not hesitate to contact us.

I hope you enjoy the visit.
